Hello! My name is Madeline — I am a Philadelphia-based product manager who specializes in using human-centric design approaches to help craft accessible, impactful, and purpose-driven products.

With a B.S. in Computer Science, a minor in Anthropology and Peace, Justice, and Human Rights from Haverford College, my educational foundations lay in advanced coding, ethnographic research, and design justice methodologies.
Dedicated to the pursuit of tech justice and equity, I utilize my unique background to collaborate directly with diverse communities, innovating in ways which genuinely enhance the lives of others.

I am currently a Product Manager at Savi, a Better Business Bureau (BBB) start-up dedicated to helping student loan borrowers lower their monthly payments, find forgiveness faster, and navigate the complex federal student loan space.

Hubspace In-App Feedback Feature

Designed and owned in-app feedback feature for Home Depot’s Hubspace mobile app — from initial concept creation to actualized UI implementation. Design efforts were centered around re-directing user feedback from app store reviews directly to developers.

HAUTE, Community Based Startup

Co-founder and former CTO of start-up HAUTE — a fashion collective dedicated to uplifting local designers from underrepresented industry backgrounds. Developed over two years, from initial SEED funding to fully-realized foundation concept, website, and expansive designer network.

Design Justice and Repair Ethics Research

Scholarly Research and Writing, Presentation, Community Teaching

Conducted advanced research exploring connections between design justice and restorative justice methodologies, advocating for the decolonization of modern design practices and fostering of more equitable product development. Several months of work culminated in an in-depth capstone research paper and defense presentation.
