More About Madeline.

Originally from Silicon Valley, I grew up surrounded by innovation during the early-2000s tech boom, sparking my lasting interest in entrepreneurial technology and its impact. In 2019, I moved just outside of Philadelphia to attend Haverford College, where I deepened my computer science education and developed a strong interest in tech equity—exploring algorithmic bias, data autonomy, and design justice.

At Haverford, I also founded HAUTE, a community fashion collective that earned me recognition as a 2021 HIP Innovations Fellow. Through HAUTE, I collaborated with designers in Philly and New York, worked with top investors, and even had dinner with Stuart Weitzman.

In 2023, I graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Science, a minor in Anthropology, and a concentration in Peace, Justice, and Human Rights. I was also honored with the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights Award for Engaged Scholarship for my work in the technology justice space.

I currently work as a Product Manager at Savi—a Better Business Bureau (BBB) start-up dedicated to helping student loan borrowers lower their monthly payments, find forgiveness faster, and navigate the complex federal student loan space. Before joining Savi, I spent 2 years as a Product Manager and UX designer for a high-growth IoT startup Afero, impacting millions of direct consumers.

Adaptability

My work emphasizes direct collaboration with end-users to ensure that a product or service aligns closely with their needs. I firmly believe in designing products in partnership with the communities they serve.

Co-Design Practices

I thrive on transforming the unknown into actionable insights. Some of my most fulfilling projects have stemmed from embracing ambiguity, conducting thorough research, and translating it into impactful product solutions.
